Juneteenth is the oldest nationally-celebrated commemoration of the ending of slavery in the United States. Under the leadership of the late Harvey Miller, DHA carries on 44 years of Juneteenth celebrations!

Juneteenth Celebration

• When: June 17, 2023 from 2:00-7:00 p.m.
• Where: Paul Laurence Dunbar Park, 801 MLK Dr. San Marcos, TX 78666
• What: There will be games, food, vendors, crafts, and activities for both children and adults. Bring your money for a silent auction.

Juneteenth Freedom Run

• When: June 19, 2023 7:00-9:00 a.m.
• Where: Originates at the Paul Laurence Dunbar Park
