The celebration starts at the corner of LBJ and Martin Luther King Jr. streets in San Marcos, TX. at 9:30 a.m. If you are presenting a wreath or registered to walk with your group, arrive no later than 8:45 a.m.

The Sip, Paint, & Poetry event will highlight poets from the African diaspora to educate and celebrate Black poetry and the Black aesthetic. The event will feature poetry, live music, painting/adult coloring, and food. This is one of two Black History Month events hosted by DHA.
